This is a ideal course covering the Advanced electrics. Every year the courses will be updated according to the latest technology additions or upgrades. Candidates that attend this course will need to know the Basic Electrics At the end of this 2 day course the candidate will be able to understand the principles of modern CAN / VAN BUS Networked electrical circuit and effectively use an automotive multi-meter and diagnostic data reader and scope within the system.Our attitude to training is to make it convenient, flexible, and most of all effective.
All courses are delivered in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and involve practical 'hands-on' tuition.
The course covers the following main subjects:
Associated Health and Safety
System Build
CAN / VAN BUS Linking
Operating Voltages and Resistances
Understanding live data
Fast tests
Starter motor testing using volt drop
Effective system fault finding
Each candidate receive a fully illustrated workbook. On completion of the course, candidates will understand the principles of modern CAN / VAN BUS Networked electrical circuit and effectively use an automotive multi-meter and diagnostic data reader and scope within the system and be able to carry out diagnostic, installation and repair work
The end of course those who successfully complete will receive qualification certificate. £30.00 IIMI QAA Cert if required
